On October 28, the final of the 4th University of Excellence Alliance College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition came to an end in Northwestern Polytechnical University. Our teachers made great achievements in the final, winning 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 3 third prizes。

The Teaching Innovation Competition of University Teachers of the Alliance of Excellence is held every two years with the purpose of implementing the fundamental task of building moral and cultivating people, promoting the common development of universities of the Alliance, and promoting the improvement of the teaching innovation ability of teachers of universities. The competition is hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University。The competition set up three groups: senior group, deputy senior group and intermediate group and below. A total of 53 teachers from 9 universities entered the on-site final through school-level selection and online review。

After the on-site report defense, Xue Kun from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering won the first prize, Li Kan from the School of Computer Science won the second prize, Zhong Huibo from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Wang Juan from the Department of Physical Education, and He Huan from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won the third prize。Professor Xue Qing and Professor Hu Yaoguang from the School of Machinery and Vehicles and Professor Zhao Lutao from the School of Management and Economics participated in the final judging as experts。

At the beginning of the competition, the Teacher Development Center attached great importance to the system design, formulated a personalized preparation plan with the participating teachers, and equipped an expert guidance team according to the subject background of the participating teachers。In the early stage, the expert guidance team guided the participating teachers to modify and improve the materials for the three contents of "Teaching innovation achievement report", "Classroom teaching recording video" and "Teaching design innovation report"。Entering the online review stage, the center invited the award-winning teachers of the previous National College Teachers Teaching Innovation Competition to share their experience and on-site reporting skills to help teachers prepare for the final defense。Before the final, the center organized several rounds of simulation exercises and reflection, experts commented on the spot, and players exchanged ideas and exchanges。

In recent years, our teachers have won many excellent achievements in all kinds of teaching competitions at all levels, demonstrating to their counterparts in colleges and universities the achievements of teaching first and hard work, giving full play to the promotion of learning, reform, construction, innovation and teaching by competition, and comprehensively building a first-class education and teaching cultural ecology in pursuit of excellence。
